Tissue Paper Art

Tissue Paper Art is a creative form of art that can be used for any occasions/holiday. Tissue Paper art is great for reality orientation, fine motor skills, hands and eyes coordination, creativity and more.

Size of Group

  • Unlimited depending on the amount of helpers you have


Equipment

  • Tissue paper tiles (Varieties of colors)

  • Glue (Liquid or Stick)

  • Paper Layout


Objective

  • Fine Motor Skills

  • Reality Orientation

  • Creativity

  • Hands and Eyes Coordination


Directions

  1. Pass all equipment to participants

  2. Instruct participants to use glue to glue the tissue paper tiles onto the paper layout

  3. Encourage participants to repeat step 2 until the Tissue Paper Art is completed.



Adaptations:

  • Limited hand mobility/dexterity

    • Hands over hands prompting


  • Lack of participation or engagement

    • implement music to the art activity

    • consistent with praise and encouragement
